Stevenson on the Screen and Beyond

For the fourth year in a row, the Stevenson Edition takes part in RLS Day, a city-wide series of events celebrating the life and works of R. L. Stevenson. In three short talks, Edinburgh University students and staff explore what happens when R. L. Stevenson’s literary creations move from his books to the cinema screen, graphic novels, and beyond. How might such adaptions of Stevenson’s work change the ways in which we view piracy, Scottishness, or science?

This will be a free and unticketed event, open to anyone interested in Stevenson’s works, and will take place on Tuesday 10th November, 4-5pm, in the Project Room (1.06), 50 George Square, University of Edinburgh.
